Casey`s General Stores Inc. Announces 14% Increase In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Casey`s General Stores Inc. (CASY) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $47.04 million, or $1.19 per share. This was up from $41.34 million, or $1.05 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.22 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.2% to $1.58 billion. This was down from $1.65 billion last year.
